Ron King (b.1932 Sao Paulo, Brazil)
Educated at Ardingley College then studied painting at Chelsea School of Art 1951. Worked as a painter and art director in publishing in Canada before returning to England in 1960. Began print making whilst lecturing at Farnham School of Art. Formed Circle press in 1969, a hub for artists and poets’ work based in Notting Hill for 25 years. Now works in his West Sussex studio producing artist books, painter collages and currently large wooden sculpture.
