R J Lloyd (b. 1927)

Reginald James Lloyd was born in Hereford in 1926 and lives in Devon. His work is included in collections of the Tate Britain, Victoria and Albert Museum, and the National Maritime Museum London, and many other municipal and private collections. Self taught, he has encompassed a wide oeuvre, primarily painting but also in stained glass, stone carving, murals and book illustration (including poems by his friend Ted Hughes). But it is his wonderful print-making and particularly his mid-century work which particularly appeal to us…
